Our mission is to bring neighbors together to protect our air, water, land, and environment. We work with communities most impacted by pollution, supporting them to lead decisions about their health, homes, and futures.

Our vision is healthy communities where every neighborhood is free from pollution and every person has the right to breathe, live, and flourish in a safe and healthy home. The community—not polluters—has the power to decide what happens where they live.
OUR THEORY OF CHANGE
When neighbors are informed, organized, and supported to lead, we can win the fight for our health, air, water, and environment. Here in Waukegan, Zion, and North Chicago, we use our voices to turn "sacrifice zones" into healthy, thriving places. Together, we are growing a healthier, more just Northeastern Illinois. Building power together, we hold polluters accountable, and fix environmental harms.
